Who We Are
The owners of LUVA Real Estate built the company with a simple goal to create a more personal and thoughtful real estate experience in Hawai‘i. In an industry that often moves quickly, their focus has always been on relationships, clear communication, and doing things the right way.
Each partner brings a different background that shaped how LUVA operates today. Their experience ranges from international marketing with Cirque du Soleil, to the fashion industry with brands like Michael Kors, Ralph Lauren, and Tommy Hilfiger, to business development in markets like San Francisco and Chicago. Those experiences helped shape a company that values both professionalism and a strong understanding of people.
With international backgrounds and fluency in Japanese and French, the team works with both local and global clients. Whether it is a luxury property, estate management, or a first home, the approach stays the same. Hands-on, responsive, and focused on long-term relationships.
Sara Layne Pedro, REALTOR® Principal Broker
Sara Layne Pedro is the Principal Broker of LUVA Real Estate and oversees the company’s real estate, property management, and vacation rental divisions across Hawai‘i. She is responsible for day-to-day operations, compliance, agent oversight, and the continued growth of the company’s portfolio.
Sara brings a diverse business background to LUVA, including experience building and managing multi-location operations prior to transitioning into real estate in Hawai‘i. Her approach is grounded in structure, accountability, and long-term asset performance.
Within LUVA’s vacation rental division, Sara focuses on operational standards, owner relations, and aligning each property with the right management strategy. Her goal is to ensure properties are not only well maintained, but performing at a high level in an increasingly regulated and competitive market.
In addition to her role at LUVA, Sara holds leadership roles within the local real estate community and is actively involved in industry organizations. She is committed to professionalism, education, and raising the standard of service across the industry.
